Happy New Year!

I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season. I was remiss in keeping this blog updated for a majority of 2012, so I have now updated all the monthly project threads that were missing. I plan to be more diligent this year.

This blog lists project information, but it is not the main site for the Gifts Across America: 50 Projects for 50 States effort. The main activity takes place in our forum on Ravelry.com. If you are a knitter/crocheter and you haven't yet joined Ravelry, I highly recommend joining. It is free. You can find us there. You can find more knitters and crocheters, and even spinners and designers there. You can find all manner of discussion there.

As we move into 2013, we will be working first on Project #36: Nebraska. This means that we are getting closer and closer to completing our first tour of these United States of America. We will be on target to complete Project #50 in 2014. We have yet to visit: Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Utah, Vermont, and Wyoming.

I hope you will continue with us on this journey.  It has been a wonderful ride so far.  If you haven't yet worked on one of our monthly projects, hop aboard and have a seat.  Needles and yarn at the ready...
